In the events and meetings to make October 1st walk a success. The United Breeds Foundation Convener Anthony Abakporo and Youth President Onuwaje Tesinro Michael. Met with the Amuwo Odofin Local Government Chairman. Engineer Valentine Buraimoh on 31st of August 2021.
The number one citizen of Amuwo local government was concerned about the issues of drug related cases. And gave his full support for the walk organised by United Breeds Foundation.

This is the maiden edition. With calls from several quarters in Lagos demanding for the walk to be replicated by United Breeds Foundation “A HARM REDUCTION ORGANISATION ” in their wards.

The public would be informed regularly as plans progress according to the planning Committee.
The hashtag #JustWalk is gaining momentum on Facebook with youths doing video challenge to support the fight against hard drugs.

United Breeds Foundation “A HARM REDUCTION ORGANISATION” has been on the streets of Amuwo Odofin LGA battling with cases related to drug abuse and other harmful vices.

According to the Media Director, Job Inegbenijie in a Press statement, the walk which would also include celebrates like 2Baba, Black Face, Faze, and Rocksteady because of their influence in the Local government area, will take place in Amuwo Odofin LGA on October 1.

“We are working with all relevant government authorities. Parents will be carried along as we plan a door-to-door sensitization exercise. We shall also visit religious centres.

“In the spirit of collaboration United Breeds Foundation is open to partnerships with corporate entities, well-meaning Nigerians, both local, and international organizations, who may seek to join us in this walk,” the statement read.

We are faced with a deadly future if we do notting about the rampage of hard drugs in our society.
It’s been many cases with pain and hurt since the substance Pandemic became very popular.

Our youths are reducing in mental capacity by the day. At United Breeds Foundation “A HARM REDUCTION ORGANISATION”, We have handled cases that got us wondering what must be done to at least achieve a remarkable feet. Hence we came up with a walk.

This is a work that will get the media, religious organizations, security forces and well meaning festac residents involved. We are reaching out door to door to encourage people to come all out. We want to walk round festac from three points, and mop up guys in the various dark spots with their placards. We shall all meet at 1st avenue where musicians who are festac breeds and can influence the youths to rethink shall serenade and advice them.

We are consulting 2 Baba, Faze, Black Face and Rocksteady. These are formidable voices in Amuwo. Who had walked this town and left an indelible inspiring marks on our streets.

We must fight to win, drugs and harmful vices don’t have rights to exist in our community. We do and only our rapid response would push back these Pandemic that’s daily robbing us of great minds. The mind is a precious gift that must not be allowed to be destroyed by none living things. We have a life, we can say No, we can stop evil! Let’s do this, Let’s fight for our future (Children).
