In yet another meeting with one of the musicians performing on October 1st, Walk Against Hard Drugs and Harmful Vices. Is an eye opener conversed by Rocksteady, a melody making vocalist known to add flavour in songs. The voice you heard on Black Face Naija’s ; “Oh my God show me the way” Rocksteady was the voice flavouring: “Olorun Oba jowo oo” at the fading of that song. He is also a member of the TRIBUNAL headed by Black Face.

In a conversation between Rocksteady and United Breeds Foundation team. He spoke of why influential musicians no longer spring from Festac Town.
He was of the view that back then there was oneness and synergy amongst musicians. That when Plantation Boys have a show, Def O clan, Ruff Rugged and Raw etc would all go to the show in one bus.
He sighted the synergy then was the strength that made talent conspicuous for investors to see. But reverse is the case today because everyone is doing their thing solo. And are lost in the crowd because team force is not there to push each other to highlighting stage.

Rocksteady also spoke of his experience at a hotel. Where he saw a young man who took Colorado and was restless till an army of fun seekers in the hotel came out to impede the disaster that would have happened.
He frowned at the rate of unfamiliar Hard Drugs on the streets today. He said: “Baba me I no perfect ooo, I dey take weed (igboo) once in a while. I no go lie but am not crazy. Have you ever seen or heard them say we saw Rocksteady drunk or high and disturbing the peace?”
“I don’t even have tattoos on my body. Guys have approached me severally especially at events to tattoo me for free. Just to boost their numbers of celebrities tattooed that would convince customers patronage. I have limits and values.”

“I’m 100% with United Breeds Foundation on their campaign against hard drugs and harmful vices”. He concluded.

It was a auspicious meeting with music star Black Face Naija and the United Breeds Foundation “A HARM REDUCTION ORGANISATION”.
Support for the younger generation, sad situation of drug proliferation, the causes and Walk Against Hard Drugs campaign were top on the discussions.
Black Face has thrown his weight on the October 1st walk, he is excited something and some people are beginning to work towards delivering the youths from drug addiction.

He spoke about lack of new artists coming out from FTT (Festac Town) he was of the view that United Breeds Foundation look into it and develop talents again from the once music hub of Nigeria.
He also spoke of the fact that this situation of drug abuse did not just start now. The previous ways of living preluded to what we are faced with today. He believes is possible to help many out of this Pandemic.

Black Face also spoke of not allowing upcoming musicians make some mistakes he made in the area of show biz. He thought it would be good United Breeds Foundation in the future organise symposium and other programmes that will enable him help Amuwo Odofin youths musically.

There was talks on likely work with United Breeds Foundation and his up and coming Foundation to help his people at Benue State. The man was wrapped with thoughts of care and love for the have-nots.
Come October 1st 2021 Black Face Naija with other stars will be at the WALK AGAINST HARD DRUGS and HARMFUL VICES.

In the events and meetings to make October 1st walk a success. The United Breeds Foundation Convener Anthony Abakporo and Youth President Onuwaje Tesinro Michael. Met with the Amuwo Odofin Local Government Chairman. Engineer Valentine Buraimoh on 31st of August 2021.
The number one citizen of Amuwo local government was concerned about the issues of drug related cases. And gave his full support for the walk organised by United Breeds Foundation.

This is the maiden edition. With calls from several quarters in Lagos demanding for the walk to be replicated by United Breeds Foundation “A HARM REDUCTION ORGANISATION ” in their wards.

The public would be informed regularly as plans progress according to the planning Committee.
The hashtag #JustWalk is gaining momentum on Facebook with youths doing video challenge to support the fight against hard drugs.

United Breeds Foundation “A HARM REDUCTION ORGANISATION” has been on the streets of Amuwo Odofin LGA battling with cases related to drug abuse and other harmful vices.

According to the Media Director, Job Inegbenijie in a Press statement, the walk which would also include celebrates like 2Baba, Black Face, Faze, and Rocksteady because of their influence in the Local government area, will take place in Amuwo Odofin LGA on October 1.

“We are working with all relevant government authorities. Parents will be carried along as we plan a door-to-door sensitization exercise. We shall also visit religious centres.

“In the spirit of collaboration United Breeds Foundation is open to partnerships with corporate entities, well-meaning Nigerians, both local, and international organizations, who may seek to join us in this walk,” the statement read.

We are faced with a deadly future if we do notting about the rampage of hard drugs in our society.
It’s been many cases with pain and hurt since the substance Pandemic became very popular.

Our youths are reducing in mental capacity by the day. At United Breeds Foundation “A HARM REDUCTION ORGANISATION”, We have handled cases that got us wondering what must be done to at least achieve a remarkable feet. Hence we came up with a walk.

This is a work that will get the media, religious organizations, security forces and well meaning festac residents involved. We are reaching out door to door to encourage people to come all out. We want to walk round festac from three points, and mop up guys in the various dark spots with their placards. We shall all meet at 1st avenue where musicians who are festac breeds and can influence the youths to rethink shall serenade and advice them.

We are consulting 2 Baba, Faze, Black Face and Rocksteady. These are formidable voices in Amuwo. Who had walked this town and left an indelible inspiring marks on our streets.

We must fight to win, drugs and harmful vices don’t have rights to exist in our community. We do and only our rapid response would push back these Pandemic that’s daily robbing us of great minds. The mind is a precious gift that must not be allowed to be destroyed by none living things. We have a life, we can say No, we can stop evil! Let’s do this, Let’s fight for our future (Children).

Great people were ordinary people before they became extra ordinary. Learning and practicing knowledge gained is what keeps them on track of vision conceived.

United Breeds Foundation has initiated a business platform identifies as PACESETTERS BUSINESS FORUM. This is birthed in view of the growing positive out put our youths are exuding. The empowerment programs we had done in equipping the few we can, has inspired us to enhance our human capital and capacity development plans.
We hope to train the youths as entrepreneurs, especially those who show interest. We have consulted professionals in various fields.

Our in house coach Akeem is a consultant who has facilitated a lot of successful business that are still standing.

We don’t know how these walks will go, but we know we shall celebrate many successful youths and be recognised for imparting people society often see as menace and threat.

David Ohiembor was any parents nightmare, source of shame and humiliation to his parents and family at large.
A good name made many chose David for their children, bad name repealed Judas as name for their child. One would wonder why some people called David, Abraham, Even Emmanuel behave opposite the inspiration of the name.
We leave you the name mystery to ponder on while we continue with the inspiring story of David Ohiembor.

David Ohiembor use to do hard drugs in Festac Town. He is known by many in the town to be a junkie. 5th Avenue especially, his frequent zone, had people from there who narrated all sorts of scary incidents to us what they saw about him.

Although David had told us about his past life but recently on 31th January 2021 , he openly repeated the story of his drug life in our Chambers. (United Breeds Foundation).

In one of our meetings, where we had first hand witnesses he mentioned who were with him in those humiliating days.
He spoke passionately to convince others to stay away from drugs. He testified about the new life and blessings that he now enjoys as a result of deciding to be responsible. And encouraged others to avoid these vices that can only destroy their mental prowess and deny them good opportunities in the society.

Only a prince has opportunities to Kingship, even when he’s on exile he still knows he is a prospect king.
David Ohiembor became King David when he came to his senses, in the heavy splash of a stormy rain that drenched him and made thoughts of repentance come alive in his mind without a preacher or family members counsel. It was one on one with destiny for him on that day. It was time for him to go back home and see what life has in the other world. That first step with several processes launched him into the office of King David!

King David is today an Evangelist, he is going about showing love to the streets he once influenced negatively.
He is presently consulting with like minded friends to come support United Breeds Foundation. As he has consistently told us of the need to bring more youths out of the streets. He is today inspiring many positively.
He is married and blessed with five children including a set of twins.

He is today a King because he made that one good decision, are you out there battling with any form of addiction?
